Lucknow: The website launched by the Uttar Pradesh government for online viewing of Dipotsav organized on the occasion of Chhoti Diwali last Friday evening in Ayodhya crashed due to a large number of visitors.

An official spokesperson said late Friday evening that the website had crashed due to a large number of visitors. He said the website would be rectified soon and people would be able to light lamps online there from Saturday morning on the day of Diwali.

After the symbolic coronation of Shri Ram in this Dipotsav, the Chief Minister said that in the Ayodhya where Dipotsav is being celebrated today, till three years ago, some people were afraid to take the name of Ayodhya. Now everything has changed, people want to come to Ayodhya. This time we have lit more than six lakh lamps in Ayodhya, now next year Ayodhya will be lit with 7.51 lakh lamps.
