According to Barwani SP Nimish Aggarwal, the incident took place on Thursday. According to the SP, the police team was checking the vehicles. During this, the police stopped Prem Singh, a Sikligar youth. He was drunk. When the police asked him for a license, he started committing a ruckus and shouted. According to the SP, Prem Singh’s name came up in Jabalpur in connection with the theft incident. Now his criminal record is being investigated.

At the same time, Prem Singh has given a different statement to the media in this matter. He said that he serves in the gurudwara early in the morning, while in the daytime, he locks a small key shop in front of Palsud’s old police post. Prem told that on the day of the incident, Palsud police station in-charge and other policemen started asking for money.
