3.65 lakh houses sold in seven cities
As per the data, housing sales in seven major cities of MMR, Delhi-NCR, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune grew by 54 percent to 3,64,900 units this year as compared to last year. A total of 2,36,500 homes were sold in these seven cities last year. Earlier in 2014, a record sale of 3.43 lakh units was made.

New supply also increased
Talking about the new supply, the supply of new residential units in seven major cities has increased by 51 percent to 3,57,600 units this year, from 2,36,700 units in 2021. MMR and Hyderabad accounted for the maximum share of new supplies. Collectively, the two accounted for about 54 percent of the new supply.
