More than a hundred transfers before the by-election announcement

Bhopal: In view of the possibility of announcing the by-elections for the 28 assembly seats of the state, the Home Department and other departments on Friday made over a hundred transfers. The Home Department has already issued transfer orders of 90 officials before the Election Commission’s press conference in New Delhi so that there will be no problem later.

Similarly, the Department of Transport, School Education and Prisons issued transfer orders. On these transfers, the State Congress has complained to the Chief Electoral Officer’s office and demanded their cancellation. The government has made transfers to influence the election. The Election Commission can announce the assembly by-election anytime. In view of its potential, programs have been scheduled under Public Welfare Week.

On Thursday, when it was indicated that the Election Commission could announce a by-election in the press conference on Friday, the Department of School Education, Mineral Resources and Cooperation transferred more than 60 officers and employees. The Home Department issued three orders one after the other before the commencement of the press conference. In this, 19 Additional Superintendent of Police and 71 Deputy Superintendent of Police level officers were transferred.

Similarly, the Transport Department issued transfer orders of 13 District Transport Officers, School Education Department 14 District Project Officers and Jail Department two employees.

In this regard, Election Commission JP Dhanopia, in-charge of the State Congress, applied to the Chief Electoral Officer and said that the way the government is transferring before the Election Commission’s press conference, it is clear that it wants to influence the election.

For this purpose, the Home Department made quick transfers. Even though the Model Code of Conduct has not come into effect yet, the Commission has made it clear that a decision will be taken in this regard on September 29. This is a kind of election announcement, so these transfers should be canceled.

Government machinery is being misused
Dhanopia said in the complaint that the ruling party is misusing the BJP administrative machinery. The Chief Minister’s programs are being organized at government expense, in which he is working to lure voters. At the same time, they are also appealing to vote in favor of potential candidates of BJP.
