Mini lockdown implemented in Delhi, 6-day ‘lockout’

New Delhi: Kejriwal government’s restrictions have begun to put a brake on the unbridled pace of the rising Corona epidemic in the country’s capital, Delhi. The 6-day lockdown in Delhi has started at 10:00 pm on Monday night, which will continue till April 26. The Delhi government, while extending the weekend curfew, announced a mini-lockdown to prevent corona infection. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced a one-week curfew today after more than 25000 cases of corona infection were reported in Delhi on Sunday.

Announcing the lockdown in Delhi, Chief Minister Kejriwal said that due to the speed with which new cases of Corona are coming to Delhi, strictness is being exercised. The government’s effort behind this strictness is to completely control the corona in the capital. As part of the lockdown order, the government said that everything except those connected with essential services will be banned. According to this order, drug shops will be open in Delhi. At the same time, employees associated with the police, civil defense, home guards, fire brigade department will also be allowed to get movement.
