Superintendent of Police of Narsinghpur district Vipul Srivastava told on Saturday that the registration number of this vehicle is TN-06Q6482 and after standing for about 12 hours on Friday night, it is here for its destination Karnal (Haryana). He said that the dose of ‘covaxin’ vaccine was brought from Hyderabad. Srivastava said that on Friday afternoon, police received information that a lorry is standing near Kareli bus stand, about 16 km from Narsinghpur district headquarters, whose engine is on and written on it by Bharat Biotech Company.
“We contacted TCI, the transport company of Gurugram (Haryana), and informed them about the driverless lorry,” he said. The company found it standing in Kareli through the GPS system and became concerned when they could not contact its driver. ” Srivastava said that after this company arranged for a driver and this lorry left for Karnal at eight o’clock on Friday night. He said, “Vikas Mishra, the driver of this lorry is still missing. We found his mobile phone at a place 16 km away from the spot. “
Srivastava said, “The refrigerator was working because of the lorry engine running. So I hope the vaccines kept in it will be safe. ” Asked if this lorry driver would have been robbed, he said, “Ecological evidence suggests that this driver may not have been robbed.” If robbed, the driver would have been found by now. He may have disappeared due to the ongoing rift in his family. He is a resident of Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, and will be between 22 and 25 years of age. Efforts are on to find him. “
