Thieves stole the iron bridge built around the year 1972 on the Ara canal here in broad daylight. As departmental officers, some people arrived with JCB, pickup van, gas cutter, etc., and in 3 days cut and cut the entire bridge missing. The most interesting thing is that the thieves also took the help of the local departmental personnel on the pretext of being an officer of the Irrigation Department and stole the entire bridge in their presence. In the presence of local employees, the thieves kept cutting the bridge and carrying it on the pickup. This sequence continued for 3 days, but neither the local employees nor the top officials could even know about it.
