New Delhi: The havoc of Coronavirus continues in Delhi, the capital of the country. Delhi Police officers and policemen are constantly coming in the grip of this virus. According to ANI, about 1000 policemen have now become Covid positive in Delhi. In these, about 1000 Delhi Police personnel including Public Relations Officer and Additional Commissioner Chinmoy Biswal have been found to be Covid positive. Delhi Police has told that all the infected personnel is quarantined.
In fact, in the last few weeks, there has been a huge increase in the cases of corona in Delhi. Amidst the increasing cases of the corona, the process of many government officials and employees being corona positive continues. According to a report, there is more than 80,000 personnel in Delhi Police.
Recently, Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana issued Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to prevent the spread of coronavirus among police personnel. and wash/sanitize hands properly. It said, “Workers who have not received a dose of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine due to medical reasons can seek medical advice again for vaccination.”
