PCS 2018 Result:
UPPSC had recruited 988 posts under the Combined State / Senior Subordinate Services Examination i.e. PCS-2018. 6,35,844 candidates applied online for the exam. The preliminary examination was held on 28 October 2018 on 1381 of 29 districts of the state, while from 18 to 22 October 2019, the main examination was conducted at various centers in Prayagraj and Lucknow. 16738 candidates participated in it. The commission declared the result of the main examination on 23 June this year. 2669 candidates were successful for the interview. At the same time, the interview ran from 15 July to 25 August and 68 candidates were absent. The Commission has selected 976 candidates against 988 posts of recruitment. 12 posts of Information Officer and District Information Officer are vacant.
UP Public Service Commission has done it. 976 candidates have succeeded against 988 posts. The first three rungs are girls. Anuj Nehra of Panipat (Haryana) is on top with the highest score. Second place was Sangeeta Raghav of Gurugram (Haryana) and Jyoti Sharma of Mathura (UP) in third place and Vipin Kumar Shivhare of Jalaun (UP) and Karamveer Keshav of Patna (Bihar) in fourth place. In the result announced on Friday, due to non-availability of qualified candidates for 12 posts of Information Officer and District Information Officer, these posts remain vacant.
Subject to the result petition: Commission Secretary Jagdish said that the candidates whose provisional word is mentioned should provide all the educational documents within the stipulated time, otherwise their selection will be canceled. The result will be subject to the final decision to be passed in the petition pending in the High Court.
Scores and category-wise and post-wise cutoff soon: Secretary said that marks of the selected, category-wise and post-wise cutoff marks will be released in the website of the commission soon. In this application of the Right to Information Act-2005 will not be accepted.
Four posts not interviewed: Four posts were not interviewed under PCS-2018. Candidates have been selected on the basis of written examination on one post of Executive Officer Category-1 / Assistant Municipal Commissioner and three posts of Accountant (Municipal Development Department).
