Meanwhile, a huge fire broke out in a corona hospital in Bharuch, Gujarat late on Friday night, in which at least 18 corona patients were reported dead. Not only this but many injured are also being reported in this incident.
According to the incident, the incident took place at Patel Welfare Hospital in Bharuch between 12.30 pm and 01 pm. As soon as the information of this incident was received, the vehicles of the fire brigade had to run to extinguish the fire on the spot. It is now being reported that the first floor of Patel Welfare Hospital was also made a covid care center for corona patients.
Giving information on this incident, SP Rajendrasinh Chudasma of Bharuch said, “12 corona patients undergoing treatment in Covid ward of this hospital have died. We fear the death toll could rise. At the moment, we have rescued about 50 people and admitted them to another hospital. ”
Significantly, this four-story hospital is located on the Bharuch-Jambusar highway and is operated by a trust. A fire officer said that a covid ward was set up on the first floor of the hospital. However, we managed to contain the fire within an hour and with the help of firefighters and locals, at least 50 people were rescued, who was being treated at the hospital. ”
The official also said that the rescued people have been admitted to another hospital at the moment. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The news is that there was such a terrible fire in the hospital that in a short time a lot of things have been burnt to ashes.
