Patna: The dates for the Panchayat elections in Bihar have been announced. With this, the model code of conduct has come into force in the rural areas of the state. State’s Election Commissioner Dr. Deepak Prasad told the complete program while announcing the Bihar Panchayat elections 2021 after holding a press conference on Tuesday. Also said that voting will be held in 11 phases.

The State Election Commissioner said that for 8072 Panchayats, votes will be cast on 2 lakh 55 thousand 22 posts. Voting for Panchayat elections will be held in 11 phases. Voting for the first phase will be held on September 24. Voting will be held for the second phase on 29 October, the third on October 20, the fourth on October 20, and the fifth phase on October 24.

Voting will be held for the seventh phase on November 15, the eighth on November 24, the 9th on November 29, the 10th on December 8, and the 11th phase on December 12.
