By the first week of April, where it was believed that Pimpri-Chinchwad would prove to be the first corona-free city, the second phase of the epidemic started from its second week and the number of infected people kept increasing. By the end of June the figure of infected three thousand, by the end of July has crossed 18 thousand. Now by August 4, this figure has reached 24 thousand 311. The recovery rate of corona in the city is more than 67 per cent proof of the health of the patients, due to the constant increase in the number of infected people. Till yesterday, 17 thousand 106 patients have returned home from the hospital after beating Corona.

77 patients died in 111 days.
In addition to the increase of epidemics in the month of July, the evidence of death from corona proved to be dangerous in terms of increase. By the end of June, a total of 77 patients from Pimpri-Chinchwad town and other cities, districts and talukas undergoing treatment in the city, have died. That is, in the 111 days from the onset of the epidemic infection, 77 patients died. But in the next 35 days, the death toll reached 505. Of this, 408 patients are residents of Pimpri-Chinchwad city and 97 patients from Pune and other cities, districts and talukas. Even though the evidence of death is less compared to the number of corona infected patients in the city, but the number of deaths that have increased in a month is definitely worrying.
