Mumbai: Unlock has started due to fewer cases of Coronavirus Pandemic in Maharashtra. Everything is slowly opening up in the state. Along with this, many speculations are being made from the beginning about when they will be allowed to travel in the lifeline local trains of Mumbaikars. Due to fewer cases of Covid, the Uddhav government of the state has given a green signal to unlock after almost two months. Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar has reacted about when the general public will be allowed to travel in the local train.
It is to be known that under Unlock in Maharashtra, some special relaxation will be given at every level. This is the reason why BMC in Mumbai has issued new guidelines under Unlock. The Mayor said that local trains are currently running only for essential services. The permission for the general public to travel in it will be taken after a week depending on the condition of Corona.
It is noteworthy that according to the new guidelines issued by the Maharashtra government, only people connected with medical and essential services are allowed to travel in Mumbai local.
At the same time, 10 thousand 219 new cases of corona have been registered in Maharashtra. While 154 people have lost their lives. It is a matter of relief that more than 21 thousand people have been cured after getting treatment for Covid. The number of corona infections in the state has reached 58,42,000.
