Mumbai: The Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday arrested Nawab Malik, a minister in the Maharashtra government, in connection with the D-Company link. After which the ED has produced him in the court. After the arrest of the owner, the difficulties of the Mahavikas Aghadi government have increased. The opposition has become an attacker on the BJP government. State BJP President Chandrakant Patil has sought the resignation of the owner.

Patil said, “Nawab Malik has been arrested, he should resign now. We demand his resignation. If not, we will protest. How are they running the government? There is a long list against the ministers of Maharashtra, which you will get tired of reading.

At the same time, after the arrest, Malik has accused the ED of forcibly signing it. NCP said, ED got me to sign a document, which they (ED) later told was a summons.

The meeting between Uddhav and Pawar begins
After the arrest of Nawab Malik, there is going to be a meeting between Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and NCP supremo Sharad Pawar to discuss the further strategy. Earlier, the NCP leader has called a meeting of the party at his residence. Rajesh Tope, Chhagan Bhujbal, and Ajit Pawar have reached out to attend the meeting.
