Mumbai: There have been 490 cases of coronavirus in Mumbai. At the same time, 1,201 people have been found infected in the entire Maharashtra. On Monday, 204 cases were reported in the city while 327 cases were reported on Tuesday.

Not a single case of Omicron variant has been reported in Maharashtra on Thursday. So far 65 cases of this new variant have been registered in the state. Of these, 35 people have been discharged from hospitals after their test reports came negative. After the arrival of 490 cases in Mumbai, the total number of cases in the city has so far increased to 7 lakh 68 thousand 148, while 16,366 people have lost their lives so far.

A total of 45,014 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, taking their total number to 1,32,91,717. Mumbai currently has 2,419 active cases of Covid-19 after 229 patients were discharged from hospitals. So far 7,46,784 patients have been cured in Mumbai and the recovery rate is 97 percent. Between December 15 and December 21, the overall growth rate of infection was 0.03 percent, while the doubling rate was 1,962 days.
