150 houses submerged in Dewas district due to eruption; rain continues in Indore and Barwani

Bhopal: The rains continue in Madhya Pradesh, the rains continue till the morning after the late-night rains in Indore and surrounding areas. Around 150 houses were inundated due to the bursting of the pond in Karma village of Dewas. Tonk Kala and Tonkhurd police reached the spot and took out the villagers trapped in the water.

In Nemawar, the water level of Narmada constantly increased, the people of the village were constantly made aware to shift to high places. Not caring for his life, the Dewas police team evacuated those stranded and brought them to safe places. About three feet of water was filled in the Nemawar police station itself. Here Narmada water reached Baba Siddhanath campus for the first time. In the Ganesh festival, Mother Narmada performed the Lord’s Jalabhishek in the ancient Ganesh temple in front of the Siddh Nath temple. Ujjain received heavy rains around 12.30 late in the night. It has been raining overnight in Barwani.
