Naxalites attack in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur, blow up bus full of soldiers

Chhattisgarh: In the Naxal-affected Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh, Naxalites blasted a landmine and blew up a bus on Tuesday in which three soldiers were killed and several other soldiers were injured. State Director General of Police DM Awasthi told Bhasha that Naxalites blew up a bus of security forces in a landmine between Kademeta and Kanhargaon in the Narayanpur district.

Three soldiers have been martyred in the incident. Awasthi said that the security forces personnel were sent in an anti-Naxal operation. He was boarding a bus while returning from the expedition. When the bus reached between Kademeta and Kanhargaon village, the Naxalites detonated the landmine.

The Director-General of Police said that after getting information about the incident, an additional security force has been dispatched to the scene of the incident. Detailed information is being collected regarding the incident.
