New Delhi: India’s much-awaited Vande Bharat train, known for its speed, met with an accident. Thankfully there was no casualty. The Vande Bharat Express running between Mumbai Central and Gandhinagar in Gujarat collided with a herd of buffaloes going from Vatva station to Maninagar and met with an accident. In this, the front part of the engine of the Vande Bharat train broke and separated.

Western Railway Senior PRO, JK Jayanti said that the Vande Bharat Express running from Mumbai Central to Gandhinagar in Gujarat met with an accident at around 11.15 am after a herd of buffaloes going from Vatva station to Maninagar came on the railway line. The front part of the engine was damaged in the accident.

Let us inform you that the semi-high-speed train Vande Bharat has recently started between Gandhinagar-Mumbai Central. It was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 30 September. The speed of the train is 120 km to 180 km per hour. The train route was disrupted after the incident. Railway officials said that there was minor damage to the front part of the engine. Therefore, there has not been any significant effect on the train service. After a while, the train was dispatched.
