Mumbai: The Bombay High Court has accepted the petition filed by Kangana Ranaut against the action of Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The court has declared the vandalism at Kangana Ranaut’s office as wrong. Following the order of the High Court, the statement of Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar has come to light on this matter. Kishori Pednekar said, “We are also shocked. An actress who lives in Himachal and calls our Mumbai POK. Those who want to make the court an arena of politics are wrong. Because this is not a matter of revenge. She was heavily trolled on social media. We will study what the court has decided. ‘

The Mumbai mayor said, “The Shiv Sena-ruled BMC will study the High Court verdict before taking any further action in the case of demolition of Kangana Ranaut’s bungalow.” Not only that, he has also used offensive language for Kangana.

According to news agency ANI, She said that the orders given by the High Court in the past in respect of Section 354A of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act will also be looked into. Section 354A empowers the municipal body and its officials to stop any illegal construction. “Kangana was issued 354A notice under the MMA Act and due process was followed,” She said.
