Increase in heart attacks since COVID
According to BMC Health Department data, a total of 29,553 people have died due to heart attacks in the city from 2018 to 2022 (except 2021). Improve your lifestyle in time
The speed at which the incidence of non-communicable diseases like heart attack, diabetes, hypertension, kidney failure, and cancer is increasing among Mumbaikars is becoming a matter of concern. The doctor said, according to me, a person should do his lipid profile, ECG, and 2D Echo once after the age of 25. If any irregularity is found in this test, further investigation and treatment can be done in time. Of the non-communicable diseases (NCD) OPD, 35 percent of the family members accompanying the patients have been diagnosed with diabetes or high blood pressure.

These people did not even know that they had this problem. Due to a lack of information or not paying attention to health, these patients later end up suffering from a heart attack or brain stroke and reach the hospital.
