New Delhi: The farmer movement on the borders of Delhi has completed 100 days and the movement which started in November last year, continues in March as well. The last interaction with the government of the leaders of the United Kisan Morcha, which is leading the peasant movement, was held on 22 January. Farmer leaders are engaged in making the countrywide by intensifying the movement and are holding rallies in different states.
Talking to The Wire, Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Singh Tikait said that this movement will continue slowly in a peaceful manner. Tikait said, “There will be big panchayats all over the country. There will be meetings on the sit-in and the meeting site. ” Talking to the government, Tikait said, “When the government needs it, it will talk.” We do not need it. Neither will the government speak to us as we say. If the government is ready to withdraw all the three bills and make a law on MSP, then we will talk or else it will go on like this. ”
The farmer leader said, “This movement has started with the idea. This will not end, neither with the poles nor by the bullet. The movement will end with thought. What will be the limit of this movement… It will not be known whether the result will be there but it is that the farmer will not go from here. Only after achieving this, the farmer will leave from here. ”

Tikait said, “MSP was, is, will remain. The government has said this.” Let go wheat, we will go to Parliament with wheat. Because how do we know where Mandi is. We will take wheat to the Parliament, see if it is sold on the MSP. ” The farmer leader said, “We will take the wheat crop to Parliament, there is a good market there because the traders sit there and will sell the crop inside and outside.”
The ticket said, “Let’s see how much is sold in Parliament.” The Parliament House Market is the same. The Prime Minister said that sell your crop anywhere… Sell it outside the market as well. So we will be fine there… Good ground is there and will be sold there. ” Tikait said that laws should be made on MSP which should not be bought at less than the rate fixed by the Government of India. This law will have to be enacted, only then the farmers will benefit. Do not buy less than what the government buys or any trader buys.
