
New Delhi: More than three lakh children were registered for the vaccine dose on the first day under the vaccination being run to prevent the coronavirus in the country.
It is noteworthy that the vaccination campaign for children in the age group of 15 to 18 years in the country is starting from 03 January i.e. Monday. For this, the process of registration on the Cowin portal started on Saturday.
According to the government portal, till 11:59 pm on Saturday night, 3,26,591 children were registered for vaccination. In the guidelines issued by the Central Government for Kovid vaccination for children, it has been said that the vaccination of children will be available both through walk-in and online registration. As per the Centre’s guidelines, apart from government ID cards, children can also book slots for vaccination on the Co-Win portal using their ID cards from January 1.

Children can also register themselves after creating a new account using their parents’ existing Co-Win accounts or through a unique mobile number. The Union Health Ministry has said that children born in 2007 and earlier are vaccinated. would be eligible to receive.
