Mumbai: Corona’s havoc in Maharashtra is not going away. Cases infected with COVID-19 are on the rise. In Maharashtra, strict rules are enforced from Corona. Due to the lockdown, a large number of workers are going back from Maharashtra. A large number of people from many districts of the state have returned to their home states. Meanwhile, Live Hindustan has written quoting the research report of the State Bank of India that within the first 12 days of the month of April, 9 lakh people have left Maharashtra for their states. This could cause a loss of Rs 82,000 crore to the state.
Explain that due to Corona’s havoc in Maharashtra, the government has implemented strict rules including lockdown. As a result, the workers started fleeing to their states taking lessons from last year. According to the report, 196 trains were run by Western Railway between April 1 and 12. In which 4.32 lakh people traveled. Out of these, 150 trains went to UP and Bihar. In which 3 lakh 23 thousand people have gone to these states.
On the other hand, if we talk about Central Railway, 336 trains have been run on their behalf. In which 4 lakh 70 thousand passengers have traveled. These trains have gone to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Assam, West Bengal and Odisha. That is why the lockdown in Maharashtra is going to have dire consequences. In such a case, the state may incur a loss of Rs 82,000 crore due to this strictness. At the same time, if the strictness increases further, this deficit will also increase.
It should be noted that considering the current situation of Corona in Maharashtra, traders are also hesitant to stop the workers. In many places, only 25 per cent of the workers are left. Earlier, 66 thousand 191 new cases of corona have come to light in the state. Also, more than 61 thousand people have recovered within 24 hours. While 832 people have died.
