Dehradun: 325 cadets became part of the Indian Army with a colorful passing out parade in the drill square located in front of the historic building of the IMA. Along with this, 70 Allied cadets also completed training on Saturday and joined their respective armies. He said, ‘This is just the beginning. I see uncertainty, competition and conflict on the horizon. You may face a situation where you can be repeatedly asked to protect the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty from internal and external threats. “We have to work hard to maintain peace and the rule of law, amidst the propaganda of arms, the conflict generated by non-state characters and the expansionary global ideology,” the lieutenant general said.

Become a cadet knowledge warrior, be equipped with digital weapons
He said I am confident that all of you will face these challenges well.
The Deputy Chief of Army Staff told the cadets to become knowledge warriors, fully equipped with digital weapons, but remember that the person standing behind the gun has the most importance. The Lieutenant-General said that the high standards of training at the IMA have equipped him with effective leadership of the troops. He also underlined the importance of character in the profession. He said, once the weak character of the soldiers is exposed, there is no second chance to correct it. The Deputy Chief of Army also asked the cadet not to give place to anger, arrogance, and jealousy.
