China is making hypersonic plane

Beijing: A Chinese company has introduced a hypersonic plane capable of flying between Beijing and New York in one hour. This hypersonic aircraft is being designed to fly at an astonishing 7,000 mph (11265 kmph). Testing of the aircraft is due to start next year. Scientists hope that this aircraft will be ready to fly in the air by 2024. This aircraft is being prepared by a company called Space Transportation.

The Sun quoted Space.com’s report as saying that this futuristic plane is being developed by a space transportation firm. It is believed that it will start flying from one end to the other by the end of the decade. The company has released a video in which the animation of the aircraft flying from the rocket wings can be seen. After takeoff, the aircraft detaches from the rocket-powered wings and heads towards its destination, while the wing and booster are then returned to the launch pad.

Will be able to reach Beijing from New York in an hour
The company claims that it will be able to connect New York with the Chinese capital in just one hour. “We are developing a ‘winged rocket’ for a high-speed, point-to-point transportation,” the firm told Chinese media. It will be cheaper than satellite-carrying rockets and will be faster than conventional aircraft.

The proposed hypersonic aircraft is bigger than the Boeing 737
Hypersonic aircraft are a staple of China’s high-tech plans, as the country has poured vast amounts of money and resources into the sector. Plans were revealed late last year to build an aircraft that could carry 10 people anywhere on Earth in just one hour. The South China Morning Post reported that the proposed 148-foot hypersonic aircraft is larger than the Boeing 737 and has two engines mounted on top of its main body.

Nuclear missile engine prepared on the design by NASA
The Communist Party-led government is developing a 6,000 mph nuclear missile engine. The design of this missile engine was reportedly abandoned by the US space agency NASA. NASA said that its cost is too high.
