New York: News Corp founder Rupert Murdoch’s son has resigned from his company’s board that publishes newspapers such as The Wall Street Journal and the New York Post. James Murdoch wrote to the board of News Corp on Friday, “I resign because of my disagreement over some editorial content published by the company’s newspapers and some other policy decisions.”
The company has made the letter public. The resignation took effect from Friday. James is considered more liberal among the Murdoch brothers. His more conservative brother Lachlan is the executive chairman of News Corp. Lachlan is also executive chairman and CEO of Fox Corp.
