New Delhi: If you are fond of traveling by rail or are going on a rail journey, then the railways have given a big blow. Actually, IRCTC has increased the prices of food and drink items available on the train and now people will get expensive food during the journey. According to the information received, IRCTC has increased the price of food items available on the train from 2 to 25 rupees. At present, this increase in the prices of food and drink has been done only for the trains going from East Central Railway.
There will also be an improvement in the quality of food
According to IRCTC Regional General Manager Rajesh Kumar, both the quality and quantity of food have been improved. All food items like roti, dosa, dal, gulab jamun, and sandwiches will be available on the train at a higher cost. IRCTC has not made any change in the prices of the things available at the food stalls at the station. The price of food items available only from Pantrykar has been increased.
