Tehran: The President of the Parliament of Iran said on Wednesday that his investigation has confirmed the infection of Corona Virus. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf tweeted that after one of his colleagues became infected, he underwent an investigation which confirmed the infection. Galibaf said that he would continue his work in isolation at home.
Earlier, he had visited the corona virus ward of a hospital in the capital to take care of patients and during this he had told the local media, “I decided to go to the hospital to see people’s problems up close.”
At the beginning of the spread of the virus in the world, Iran remained the center of the epidemic. Covid-19 has claimed 32,000 lives in the country so far, the highest in West Asia. According to local media, the transition has been confirmed in at least 30 Iranian parliamentarians in recent months.
