World Population

New Delhi: You must have heard much news of an increase in population in India, but today we are talking about the world. The population of the world has increased to 8 billion today. In fact, the number of humans in the world has increased so much that in the coming years there can be a shortage of all the needs including food grains. However, experts believe that there will come a time in this century when the growth of the population will stabilize, and then a decline will also be seen. Let’s know what the report says about the global population. The latest projections by the United Nations suggest that the global population could grow to around 8.5 billion in 2030, 9.7 billion in 2050, and 10.4 billion in 2100.

The human population will cross 10.6 billion in the year 2086
As we told you that the increase in population in the last 48 years is shocking. It may be known that earlier the population of the world was only 4 billion in 1974, which has now crossed 8 billion. In 1950, the population of the world was only two and a half billion. Not only this, 2086 will be such a year when the population of humans in this world will exceed 10.6 billion. Many things are happening regarding this. Let us know what the figures say about the population at the poison level.

China is on top in terms of population
When we talk about the figures, China still has the largest population with 142 crores and India is at number two, whose population is 141 crores. It is being said that according to the pace at which India’s population is increasing, in 2023 it will leave China behind in this matter. However, from around 2050, the growth of the population will stabilize, and then a decrease will also be seen. This is the reason why in many countries of the world including India, and China, there is a possibility of decreasing youth population in the coming decades, which can have an adverse effect on the workforce. In this way, even today China is on top in terms of population.

World Population

The pace of population is slow in these countries
In fact, in many countries of the world, the growth rate of the population has already fallen below the replacement level i.e. 2.1. It is being said that the growth rate of the population of the whole world will remain till 2055 at 2.1 i.e. the replacement level. According to the United Nations data, the maximum increase in population happened from 2012 to 2014. During this, more than 14 crore children were born. It is being said that with some ups and downs, a decline in the rate of population growth can be seen from 2043. So far the population has increased rapidly, but now it will take 12 years to add the next one billion people to the population.

The population will increase in these countries, not China and India
Those who understand matters related to population say that due to the decrease in the death rate, the population is also increasing. In the last 70 years, China and India have contributed significantly to increasing the world’s population. If we combine the population of these two countries, it becomes about 2.80 billion. But in the coming times, there will be a decrease in the growth of India and China. It is being said that in the last decades of the 21st century, instead of India and China, the population of African countries will increase rapidly. These countries would include Tanzania, Nigeria, and Congo.

Know how the population is increasing
If we look at the rate of population growth, the number of humans in the world was 2.5 billion in 1950, which increased to 3 billion in the next 10 years. After this, in 1974 it became 4 billion. Then in the next 13 years i.e. in 1987, this figure increased to 5 billion. However, it took only 12 years for the next one billion i.e. 60 million figure to be reached. Then in 2011, the world’s population increased to 7 billion and now the figure has crossed 8 billion in 11 years. It is being said that there will be some stability in the growth of the population in the coming decades and by 2086 our population will reach 10.4 billion.
