Geneva: The World Health Organization (WHO) has approved the emergency use of Pfizer / BioNTech Vaccine to prevent coronavirus and now these countries will be available to poor countries. Until now, these vaccines were available only in Europe and North America.

Drug regulatory agencies of countries approve any Covid-19 vaccine on their behalf, but countries with weak systems usually depend on the WHO for this. The WHO said Thursday that its decision to approve the emergency use of the Covid-19 vaccine would “give countries the opportunity to speed up the approval process of their regulators to import and apply vaccines.”

He said that the vaccine produced by Pfizer-BioNotech “has met the safety standards and other standards set by the organization.” Significantly, many countries including the US, UK, and the European Union have approved this vaccine. This vaccine has to be kept at a very low temperature, which is a major challenge for developing countries.
