Islamabad: The Meteorological Department of Pakistan has warned that the drought conditions in Sindh and Baluchistan parts may worsen, due to which water in agricultural land (Water) deficiency may be encountered. This information has been given in the news reported in the media.

According to the Dawn newspaper, the National Drought Monitoring Center, a unit of the Meteorological Department, has issued a consultation, which shows that drought conditions have arisen due to less than normal rainfall in the country from October 2020 to January 2021. According to the consultation, the central and southern districts of Balochistan are facing mild to moderate drought conditions.

At the same time, the southern-eastern part of Sindh is also vulnerable to drought. In relation to these areas, the Meteorological Department believes that the drought conditions may worsen and may also have an impact on agriculture and animals.
