Hilo (USA): A 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of the Big Island in Hawaii, causing the island’s residents to panic and rush out of their homes, and the quake caused objects to fall inside the homes.
The US Geological Survey said on Sunday that the quake occurred at a depth of about 17 kilometers. The National Weather Service in Honolulu said there was no tsunami threat from the quake. There is no report of any casualties due to the earthquake.
