New Delhi: It has been 20 days since the war between Russia and Ukraine. Meanwhile, on Monday, Ukraine’s energy operator company, Ukranergo, said that due to Russia’s attack, the power supply has once again come to a standstill at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. According to the company, the high voltage line of the nuclear plant was completely damaged due to Russian attacks, after which the power supply was cut off.

Let us tell you that even before this, due to the Russian attack, the power supply of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant was stopped, but it was fixed. Let us tell you that this is the same nuclear power plant where a very dangerous explosion took place in 1986. Many people lost their lives in this incident.

After the 1986 blast, this nuclear plant was closed and since then an expert team has been working continuously to stop its radiation from spreading. After the power supply is shut down, now the operators say that if there is no immediate supply then the risk of radiation may increase.

Let us tell you that the war between Ukraine and Russia started on 24 February. Today is the 19th day of the war. Both the countries have suffered heavy losses in the war. Many cities in Ukraine were completely destroyed by the Russian attack, while about 2.7 million people left Ukraine. The Russian military also captured Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, the Zaporizhia Plant, on 4 March.
