New Delhi: Sunday is the 11th day of Russia’s attack on Ukraine. Two talks to end the war between the two countries have proved unsuccessful. Although Western countries have imposed many sanctions with the aim of teaching Russia a lesson, despite this, it is not stopping and its attacks are continuing. In the wake of Russia’s aggressive action, people have started an exodus from Ukraine and so far more than 1.5 million people have left the country.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba has appealed to many countries, including India, to ask Russia to stop attacking Ukraine. He also said that if the attack on this Eastern European country is not stopped, then the world may face a food crisis. During a televised address, Kuleba accused Russia of violating ceasefire agreements in the cities of Mariupol and Volnovakha and called for a safe corridor to evacuate civilians, including foreign students.

‘Ukraine has always done well for foreign nationals’
He said, “Ukraine was a welcoming home for students from Africa and Asia for the last 30 years… We have arranged trains, established hotlines, and worked relentlessly with foreign embassies to facilitate foreign students… the government of Ukraine has always Sen has been doing good for foreign nationals and students.

It is also very important to stop the war from the point of view of food security
Kuleba told all countries that have good relations with Russia, including India, that they can appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin that “this war is not in anyone’s interest.” He added, “Ukraine is a major center for agricultural products and India is one of its biggest consumers. In such a situation, if this war continues, then we will not be able to grow a new crop. Therefore, it is very important to stop this war from the point of view of food security for the global and India also.
