New Delhi: Twitter has found a way to earn on the lines of YouTube. Elon Musk has announced the launch of a subscription plan for content creators on his microblogging platform Twitter. In a tweet, he said that users of the social media platform can offer subscription plans to their followers to present content with longer texts and hours of videos.

Musk gave information to the users
Now users can offer subscriptions for their content. This is a feature that they can access through the ‘Monetization’ tab in Settings. Users will get all other money except the Android and iOS levy fees on the platform.

Under this plan, Twitter will not make any deduction for the first 12 months. Musk said that iOS takes 70% and Android 30% of users. Whereas on the web it can be 92% or less. He said that it can be better on the basis of a payment processor.

Musk continued, “After the first year, the iOS and Android fees will drop to 15% and we’ll add a small amount on top of that based on volume. We will also help in promoting your work. Our goal is to maximize producer prosperity.”

Musk further said that at any time users can leave our platform and take their work with them. Twitter is giving them the option of easy in and out.
