Washington: In the US, lawmakers of both Democratic and Republican parties are demanding the removal of President Donald Trump. Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi said that if Trump was not removed, the House of Representatives would consider bringing a second impeachment motion against him.
Trump’s term is less than two weeks away, yet lawmakers and even some of his administration are discussing this with Wednesday’s violence, because Trump has previously been accused by the US Capital. I refused to condemn the violent uproar of his supporters and later appeared to clarify this. Senior officials of the Trump administration are looking at the possibility of forcibly removing them from their own cabinet under Section 4 of the 25th Amendment. Pelosi told a press conference on Thursday that she was awaiting the decision of Vice President Mike Pence and other cabinet officials.
He challenged Foreign Minister Mike Pompeo and Finance Minister Steve Manuchin. Pelosi asked, “Will they join these actions? Are they ready for this dangerous person in the next 13 days to do anything to harm our country. ” Pelosi said that Trump could no longer be allowed to do anything. Trump has been blamed by most Democrats and Republican leaders for the uproar in the Capitol on Wednesday. Democratic leader Chuck Schumer in the Senate also called for Trump to be removed from the cabinet. He said, “If the Vice President and the Cabinet does not take a decision on this, then the Congress will bring impeachment motion against him.”
Meanwhile, Senator Lindsey Graham, a top aide of Trump, has said that the president should accept his role in the violence. He said that he has no regrets for supporting Trump, but has done the whole matter on his own. He said, “When it comes to accountability, the President should understand that his action is the problem and not the solution.”
