According to the report of the Russian Times, in the midst of the ongoing war with Ukraine, now in Russia, people between the ages of 18 and 27 will have to compulsorily join the army. They have to serve at least two years. Those who do not participate in the recruitment will be punished with imprisonment from two years to four years. First, a letter will be sent from the Russian army to the deserving youth, if they do not come within two weeks, they will be thrown in jail. There will be one lakh new recruitments till April 1.

At the beginning of the war, the Russian army had announced not to engage soldiers with compulsory military service in the war, but now Russia has accepted the involvement of such soldiers in the war.
War going on since February 24
