Jerusalem: Thousands of people demonstrated in Israel against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in several places in the country on Saturday. The main performance took place outside the official residence of Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem. Demonstrations have been going on for the past few weeks. Which critics see as the government’s failure to deal with the Coronavirus crisis. Corruption allegations against Netanyahu have further fueled these demonstrations. Hundreds of protesters gathered outside Netanyahu’s Beach House in Saffron City on Saturday.

The police last week conducted water splashes to chase down the protesters in Jerusalem. After the country quickly and unfairly reopened the economy in May, Covid-19 cases began to grow rapidly and up to 2,000 new cases a day. The economy of the country is in a shambles and the unemployment rate has reached around 20 percent. The protesters say the government’s offer of financial help is not enough. These demonstrations are taking place at a time when the corruption trial against Netanyahu resumed this month. The trial on the trial will begin in January. Netanyahu is accused of taking bribes in fraud, betrayal, and several scams.
