Protest against Corona flared up in Canada

New Delhi: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has gone to a secret place with the family in view of the massive protest against the tightening of the Corona guidelines. Protesters have surrounded his residence. Thousands of truck drivers and other protesters gathered in the capital city and surrounded PM Trudeau’s residence. Truck drivers are against making the corona vaccine mandatory in the country and imposing a lockdown. They have named 70 km long convoy ‘Freedom Convoy’.

In fact, in Canada’s capital Ottawa, thousands of people protested against making vaccination mandatory and against Covid-19 restrictions on Saturday. During this, some protesters compared the Covid restrictions to fascism and displayed Nazi symbols with the Canadian flag. Several protesters sharply criticized Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, targeting him.

Opposition to compulsory vaccination
David Santos, from Montreal, said he thinks making vaccinations mandatory is not health-related but a trick by the government to “control things”. Organizers of the protests called for the withdrawal of the decision to make all COVID-19 restrictions and vaccinations mandatory, and Prime Minister Trudeau’s resignation. Earlier, PM Trudeau has said that truckers are anti-science and they pose a danger not only to themselves but to other Canadians. It is being said that 50 thousand truck drivers with their 20 thousand trucks have surrounded the Prime Minister’s residence located in the capital Ottawa.

10 thousand protesters in the capital
About 10 thousand people are involved in the protest who have entered the parliamentary premises. However, the police have made heavy security arrangements and in view of the possibility of violence, the police are on high alert. Police said that about 10,000 people have reached the Parliament but the exact figure of how many protesters are present in the Parliament premises is not with the police.
