London: Lord Meghnad Desai, an economist of Indian Origin and author, has found effective ways to combat racial discrimination against Britain’s opposition Labor party. Accusing him of failing to deal with, he has resigned from his membership.

Lord Meghnad Desai said he had always been a supporter of the Labor Party but decided to cancel it on Thursday, 49 years after joining, as Jeremy Corbyn was reinstated after a mere 19-day suspension. He was found to be involved in “illegal acts” by the country’s human rights watchdog.

Lord Desai (80) said, “The decision to allow him to return without apologizing was very specific. He was ignored for a few months for the party whip in the House of Commons, but it was a mild response to the huge crisis. ” He said, “I am extremely uncomfortable and a little ashamed that the party is full of such racism. Jewish MPs are openly called good or bad, female members are trolled. It’s clear and it’s clearly racism. “

The Labor Party has been accused of racist remarks about Jews for some years and the December 2019 election defeat was also linked to the crisis.

Desai said, “I don’t see things really changing in the near future and finally I have to go with my intuition. I cannot be part of a group that is prejudiced against the Jews. ” He also stressed that he has no intention of joining any other political party.
