This vessel is named after the slain Commander of the Navy, Commander Abdullah Roudki. The photos show the ship loaded with surface-to-surface missiles and anti-aircraft missiles being spotted by the truck. There are also four small fast boats on the vessel. These boats are the same ones used regularly by the Revolutionary Guards in the Persian Gulf. The length of the vessel is 150 meters (492 feet) according to the Revolutionary Guard.

The U.S. Nimitz-class aircraft carriers are 332 meters (1,092 feet) long. There is no runway on the Iranian ship but there is a ‘landing pad’ for the helicopter. Admiral Ali Reza Tangsiri, commander of the Revolutionary Guard Navy, said his forces wanted to patrol beyond the Gulf waters. Iran’s presence in the Indian Ocean is a right. The vessel appears to be in response to a U.S. Navy patrol.
