Tehran: The country’s state television showed footage of missiles fired from land and ships, but made no mention of their firepower.
Admiral Hamzeh Ali Kaviani, a spokesman for the naval exercise, said, “The enemy must know that any breach of the Iranian border and any attack on it will be responded to by cruise missiles from both the coast and the sea.”
Iran’s two-day naval exercise began on Wednesday. Cruise missiles have been fired at a time when tensions between Iran and the US remain at a peak.
