Ramallah (West Bank): India on Tuesday donated the last installment of $ 3 million for the construction of Palestine-India Techno Park. Through this technopark, the Palestinian Information Technology entrepreneurs will be able to interact with the local, regional, and global markets.

In 2016, India promised to donate one million and twenty million dollars for the establishment of a technopark at Ramallah near Bir Jayat University under a bilateral assistance project. Officials told that the project is almost in its final stages and maybe inaugurated in February or March next year.

India’s representative in Palestine Sunil Kumar handed over a check of three million dollars to Dr. Mazdi Al-Khaldi, the President’s diplomatic advisor, at an event held at the project site. On this occasion, Dr. Al-Khaldi thanked India, saying, “This is a gift from India that will benefit the Palestinian industry and it will start in the information technology market both regionally and globally.”
