Berlin: The daily increase in cases of Corona Virus infection in Germany has raised the concern of the country’s Center for Disease Control. The Robert Koch Institute said on Saturday that 23,300 new cases of infection were reported in Germany on Saturday, the highest number of new cases reported on a single day so far.
On Friday, the number of infection cases stood at 21,506. For the first time on Friday, more than 20,000 Kovid-19 patients were exposed to Germany on a single day. According to the institute, 130 Covid-19 patients died in the country on Saturday. In Germany, 315 patients lost their lives so far in April. Meanwhile, Germany has implemented several important new sanctions due to the growing outbreak of the epidemic.
A partial lockdown has been imposed in the country for four weeks, which is effective from Monday. During this time bars, restaurants, sports complexes, etc. remained closed. However, shops and schools remained open. A total of 6,42,488 cases of infection have been reported in Germany so far, of which 11,226 people have died.
