Islamabad: Attacks on new PM Shahbaz Sharif and his family on behalf of Imran Khan, who was removed from the Prime Minister’s chair in Pakistan, are increasing day by day. Now they have called Sharif a ‘mafia’. Imran alleged that the Sharif family had given money to a woman in 2018 to defame her. Imran did not take anyone’s name, but it is being told that he was referring to his former wife Reham Khan. Imran also expressed apprehension that after Eid, there may be attempts to assassinate his character once again.

Imran Khan, who was removed from the post of PM through a no-confidence motion in the National Assembly of Pakistan, made these allegations at a public meeting in Multan, Punjab province. He said the Sharif ‘mafia’ had not even spared his first wife, Jemima Goldsmith. UK-born TV star Jemima has been accused of being a member of the Jewish lobby. He had to make rounds of the courts for a year. He was accused of sending rare tiles abroad, while forensic tests proved that those tiles were not antique.

PTI quoted Express Tribune newspaper as saying that at the rally, Imran said that these are the same people who accused Jemima, who had written a book against me by paying money to a woman before the elections in 2018. Now they are once again trying to assassinate my character. These people can try something like this after Eid. But I want to give a message to them that as long as I am alive, I will continue to fight against them. Imran Khan has spoken for the first time in 2018 about the book named Reham Khan. Imran’s ex-wife Reham Khan has been a well-known Pakistani-British journalist, filmmaker, and writer. In 2018, he wrote a biography in his own name, on which there were a lot of controversies.

He said that he will not stop speaking against the mafia. He will soon release a white paper on the alleged corruption of the Sharif family. Imran Khan has been terming his removal from the post of PM as a foreign conspiracy and has been calling Shahbaz Sharif a corrupt ruler. Imran is now gathering public support for holding fresh elections in the country by holding rallies from place to place. He has said that soon he will mobilize 20 lakh people in Islamabad and demand elections.
