Berlin: At least 7 people have died and many people are missing in the floods caused by heavy rains in Germany. Several cars were washed away and some buildings collapsed due to the flood. Police in the western city of Koblenz tweeted on Thursday that four people were killed in Ahrwiller County and about 50 people were trapped on the roofs of their homes waiting to be evacuated.

“Many people are said to be missing,” police said. Police said six houses in the town of Adenau collapsed due to incessant rains and 30 people are still missing. Germany and neighboring countries have seen heavy rains recently, causing widespread damage.
