Washington: Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, Priscilla Chan, said they would provide further assistance of Rs 7,33,72,00,000 to conduct the presidential election on November 3 in the US. They will give this financial support to support elected officials and to spend in elections. Mark Zuckerberg and his wife had previously provided Rs 22,01,10,00,000 to fight the US election challenges due to Covid-19. In March this year also, the pair had given the assistance of 25 million dollars to the US government to fight the coronavirus.

Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla first gave $ 300 million

Zuckerberg wrote in his Facebook post that we felt that the officials involved in conducting the elections needed more help than they had hoped to create a voting infrastructure. This is the reason why today we have offered financial assistance of 100 million dollars. This help is being given to the Center for Tech and Civic Life to secure people and vote.

Zuckerberg gave information by writing a post on Facebook
He wrote that applications have been received for financial assistance to CTCL from more than 2,100 constituencies. CCTL is a Chicago-based nonprofit organization. According to the CCTL website, the organization helps to make democracy better and modernize the American elections.

Zuckerberg has also written in his post that he has retaliated to the litigants who tried to block the use of funds, and wrote that many cases were filed by us for the first aid. His aim was to stop the use of the amount of help we are giving and he said that organizations receiving donations have a partisan agenda. It is obvious that those allegations are absolutely baseless and false.
