Earthquake tremors in Japan, a magnitude of 5.8 on the Richter scale

New Delhi: According to the big news of the afternoon, tremors of a 5.8 magnitude earthquake have been felt in Japan at 12.24 pm today. The Japanese Meteorological Agency said the epicenter of the quake was at a depth of about 30 kilometers in the Pacific, off Ibaraki prefecture.

Let us tell you that earlier on May 9, earthquake tremors were felt in Japan. Then their intensity was measured to be 6.1 on the Richter scale. According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the epicenter of the earthquake was 68 km southwest of Yonaguni city.
