Damascus: Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s blood pressure suddenly dropped during a speech in Parliament, forcing him to stop his speech for a while. As blood pressure dropped, Assad stopped his speech and told MPs that he needed to “sit for two moments”. Asad (54) was giving a speech in Parliament for about half an hour, but then he suddenly started to look restless. He interrupted the speech and drank water twice.
