Copenhagen: The Danish government on Thursday decided to keep the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine (Vaccine) suspended for three more weeks. Denmark stopped the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine as a precaution on 11 March.

According to health officials, a week after the vaccine, a 60-year-old woman became a blood clot in several parts of her body and died, after which the government took this step. Soon after, another man who had been vaccinated in AstraZeneca was killed in Denmark.

Danish health officials said they did not have evidence that the cause of death was vaccination. Norway and Sweden also prohibit the use of AstraZeneca vaccines.
